Casa de Campo Resort & Villas in La Romana has relaunched its Unlimited Golf package, giving guests open access to two Pete Dye-designed layouts on the 7,000-acre Dominican Republic property: the 27-hole Dye Fore and the 18-hole Links. The offer, reported by Caribbean Journal on September 23, starts at $699 per room, per night, and the resort’s own offer page notes that a 28 percent tax is added at booking.
The headline is volume. Rounds are available throughout a stay, including arrival and departure days, subject to tee-time availability, which means a golfer could play 18 holes in the morning and add another nine in the afternoon without paying a separate green fee.
Dye Fore is the dramatic half of the deal. Its three nines each have a distinct character: Chavón, where holes sit on cliffs roughly 300 feet above the Chavón River; Marina, with sweeping views toward the Caribbean Sea; and Lagos, the most shotmaking-oriented of the three. The Links offers a gentler counterpoint, with broad fairways winding through tropical grounds set against demanding green complexes and undulating putting surfaces, making it one of Dye’s more accessible designs.
Beyond golf, the package bundles accommodation in a guestroom, premier suite or villa with a full meal plan covering breakfast, snacks, lunch and dinner at participating restaurants, plus use of a four-passenger golf cart to get around the resort. Unlimited horseback riding, tennis and non-motorized water sports are included, along with one 25-cartridge round of clay shooting, fitness center access and family activities. The resort notes that tee times are not guaranteed and that caddies are recommended, and required on certain courses, with fees varying.
Teeth of the Dog, the resort’s celebrated oceanfront course, is not part of the unlimited offer following its recent restoration, but guests can purchase rounds on it separately. For travelling golfers, access is straightforward: La Romana International Airport is minutes from the resort, with nonstop American Airlines service from Miami. Full terms and current availability are listed on Casa de Campo’s website.
