The Bahamas won the overall title at the 2026 Caribbean Golf Association (CGA) Four-Ball Championship, which concluded on Saturday, October 10, at Royal Turks & Caicos Golf Club on Providenciales. The Bahamian team finished on 88 points, well clear of Jamaica on 71 and Trinidad and Tobago on 65. Barbados, Puerto Rico, the Cayman Islands, Saint Lucia and host nation Turks and Caicos also fielded teams.
The Bahamas set the pace from the opening round, when strong winds made scoring difficult. After day one they led the team standings with 28 points to Jamaica’s 25 and Trinidad and Tobago’s 24, helped by a four-under-par 68 from their Mid-Amateur Men’s pair, the lowest team score of the round.
Trinidad and Tobago’s Victoria Seenath and Tori De Freitas-Baptiste were the standout story of the women’s competition, winning the Ladies 25-and-over division for a third consecutive year. The pair posted rounds of 78, 77 and 76 for a 231 total, nine strokes ahead of the Bahamas’ Taneka Sandiford and Inecia Rolle on 240, with Jamaica’s pair third on 242.
The Bahamas added the Legends (70-and-over) title through James Wallace and Raymond Gibson, who closed with a 72 for a 224 total (75-77-72); Trinidad and Tobago’s Ahamad Ali and Pran Rajendranath were second on 234. In the Super Seniors, Jamaica’s Keith Stein and Radcliffe Knibbs led from an opening three-under 69 and won on 213, ahead of the Bahamas’ Leroy Williamson and Horace Miller (220), with Trinidad and Tobago’s John Holley and Wayne Baptiste sharing third on 221.
The host nation had a winner of its own in the Ladies 45-and-over division, where Turks and Caicos’ Emer O’Sullivan and Andrea Todd won with 226. Jamaica’s Michelle McCreath and Marguerite Lyn finished on 242, and Trinidad and Tobago’s Emilie Ramsahai and Ingrid Seeberan were third on 245 (83-81-81).
Elsewhere for Trinidad and Tobago, Chrislon Baptiste and Ryan Gomez placed third in the Mid-Amateur division on 230, while Russell Latapy and Dominique Chatoo were fifth in the Seniors (50-and-over) on 226. The championship rotates around the region each year; the 2025 edition was played in Montego Bay, Jamaica.
